The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board of the City of Coral Gables met to discuss upcoming projects. Several new park developments are under review, including a 1.5-acre park near Sunset Drive and Red Road, another 1.5-acre park near Granada Boulevard and Almeria Avenue, and a 1.5-acre park at Southwest 57th Avenue and Southwest 42nd Street, which could involve land clearing, grading, civil engineering, surveying, utility work, concrete, paving, framing, roofing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and landscaping. A proposed community center at 100 Andalusia Avenue is also being discussed. Additionally, improvements are planned for the Granada Golf Course, and a dog park at 520 University Drive is under review.
