This action addresses critical failures in the condenser water system at Miami International Airport (MIA), impacting cooling capacity and posing an operational emergency. Phase 1 involves engineering services to assess and redesign repairs for cooling towers CT-1, CT-2, CT-3, CT-5, CT-6, CT-7, and CT-8. A separate Phase 2 for construction services, with an anticipated budget of $35 million, will be presented later. The contract was ratified on June 2, 2026.
