Miami-Dade County is approving a contract with Ardurra Group, Inc. as part of a pool of architectural and engineering consultants to provide general engineering and inspection services for the Miami-Dade Aviation Department at Miami International Airport. The contract, numbered E25AV01B, has a maximum combined amount of $41,353,125.00 for a five-year term with a potential five-year renewal. Services will include routine construction inspection, specialized threshold inspection, and commissioning of building systems. The Aviation Department determined it lacks the in-house capabilities for these services. Ardurra Group, Inc. was the second-highest ranked firm selected for negotiation. The project is part of the Miami International Airport's modernization plan, which has been expanded to $12 billion.
