Miami-Dade County is approving a Professional Services Agreement (PSA) with Ardurra Group, Inc. to provide general engineering and inspection services for the Miami-Dade Aviation Department at Miami International Airport. This is part of a pool of consultants for capital improvement projects. The contract has a maximum amount of $41,353,125.00 for a five-year term with a five-year renewal option. Services include routine construction inspection, threshold inspection, and commissioning of building systems. The Aviation Department determined it lacks the in-house capabilities for these specialized services. Ardurra was the second-highest ranked firm selected after a competitive process involving sixteen proposals. The project is funded through future financing and reserve maintenance funds. All activities must consider sea level rise projections and comply with the County's Sustainable Buildings Program.
