Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners is set to approve a Professional Services Agreement (PSA) with CES Consultants, Inc. for general engineering and inspection services at Miami International Airport. This contract, part of a pool of consultants, has a maximum combined amount of $41,353,125.00 for a five-year term with a potential five-year renewal. The services will support the Miami International Airport's (MIA) modernization plan, including construction and renovation of buildings, civil projects, and mechanical/electrical systems. The Aviation Department determined it lacks the in-house capabilities for these specialized services.
