Miami-Dade County is approving a Professional Services Agreement (PSA) with CES Consultants, Inc. as part of a pool of architectural and engineering consultants. This contract, for general engineering and inspection services for the Miami-Dade Aviation Department at Miami International Airport (Contract No. E25AV01E), has a maximum combined amount of $41,353,125.00 for a five-year term with a potential five-year renewal. The services will support Capital Improvement Program (CIP) projects, including construction and renovation of buildings, civil projects, and mechanical/electrical equipment installation and upgrades. The Aviation Department determined it lacks the in-house capabilities for these specialized services. CES Consultants, Inc. was the fifth-ranked firm selected after a competitive process involving sixteen proposals. The agreement is subject to sea level rise considerations and the County's Sustainable Buildings Program. The work will commence upon issuance of a service order.
