Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners approved a Professional Services Agreement (PSA) with CES Consultants, Inc. for general engineering and inspection services at Miami International Airport. The contract, valued at a maximum of $41,353,125.00, has a term of five years with a five-year renewal option. CES Consultants, Inc. will be part of a pool of consultants providing services for capital improvement projects, including construction and renovation of buildings, civil projects, and mechanical/electrical systems. The approval was recommended by the Aviation and Seaport Committee and forwarded to the Board of County Commissioners. The project is part of the Miami International Airport's modernization plan, which has been expanded to $12 billion. CES Consultants, Inc. was the fifth-ranked firm selected from sixteen proposals. The contract includes provisions for sea level rise and sustainable building practices.
