Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners is approving a Professional Services Agreement (PSA) with CES Consultants, Inc. for general engineering and inspection services at Miami International Airport. This is part of a pool of five consultants to support the Miami-Dade Aviation Department's Capital Improvement Program. The contract has a maximum amount of $41,353,125.00 for a term of five years with a five-year renewal option. Services include routine construction inspection, threshold inspection, and commissioning of building systems. The project is part of MIA's modernization plan, which has been expanded to $12 billion. CES Consultants, Inc. was the fifth-ranked firm selected after a competitive process involving sixteen proposals. The contract is funded through various Miami International Airport subprograms and reserve maintenance funds.
