PSA AWARD TO NIFAH AND PARTNERS

Miami-Dade County is approving a Professional Services Agreement (PSA) with Nifah & Partners Consulting Engineers, Inc. to provide general engineering and inspection services for the Miami-Dade Aviation Department at Miami International Airport. This is part of a pool of consultants for Contract No. E25AV01C. The contract has a maximum combined amount of $41,353,125.00 for a term of five years with one five-year renewal option. The services include routine construction inspection, threshold inspection, and commissioning of building systems. The Aviation Department determined it lacks the in-house capabilities for these specialized services. The contract is funded through future financing and reserve maintenance funds, allocated across various airport subprograms including the Central Terminal, North Terminal, South Terminal Expansion, Cargo and Non-Terminal Buildings, Concourse E, Terminal Wide, General Aviation Airports, and Miscellaneous Projects. The project is subject to sea level rise considerations and the Sustainable Buildings Program.
