Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners is approving a Professional Services Agreement (PSA) with Nifah & Partners Consulting Engineers, Inc. to provide general engineering and inspection services for the Miami-Dade Aviation Department at Miami International Airport. The contract, number E25AV01C, has a maximum combined amount of $41,353,125.00 for an initial five-year term with one five-year renewal option. These services will support the airport's modernization plan, including construction and renovation of buildings, civil projects, and mechanical/electrical equipment upgrades. Nifah & Partners was the third-ranked firm selected from a pool of five A&E consultants. The Aviation Department determined it lacked the in-house capabilities for these specialized services. The contract is funded through future financing and reserve maintenance funds.
