Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners approved a Professional Services Agreement (PSA) with Nifah & Partners Consulting Engineers, Inc. for general engineering and inspection services for the Miami-Dade Aviation Department at Miami International Airport. The contract, number E25AV01C, has a maximum combined amount of $41,353,125.00 for a five-year term with a potential five-year renewal. Nifah is part of a pool of five architectural and engineering consultants selected to support the airport's modernization plan, which includes upgrades to terminals, concourses, runways, and other infrastructure. Services will include routine construction inspection, specialized threshold inspections, and commissioning of building systems. The Aviation Department determined it lacked the in-house capabilities for these specialized services. The contract was awarded following a competitive selection process where Nifah was the third-ranked firm.
