Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners is considering the award of a competitive revenue-generating contract, Contract No. EVN0028376, for the Concourse K Concession Program at Miami International Airport (MIA). The contract is proposed to be awarded to OTG MIA Venture, LLC for an initial 11-year term with one one-year option to renew. This program involves the development and management of 17 concession spaces (11 food and beverage, 6 retail) totaling approximately 19,073 square feet within the upcoming Concourse K. The projected revenue to the Miami-Dade Aviation Department (MDAD) is $62,200,000.00. The Concessionaire will be responsible for financing, design, leasing, tenant coordination, construction, and property management of these spaces. The project is part of MIA's modernization efforts to enhance passenger experience and generate non-aeronautical revenue. The contract was introduced on June 24, 2026, and is scheduled for an Agenda Date of September 1, 2026. The Aviation and Seaport Committee forwarded the resolution to the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) with a favorable recommendation on July 13, 2026. The Living Wage Ordinance applies to this contract.
