Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners is considering the award of a competitive revenue-generating contract (Contract No. EVN0028376) for the Concourse K Concession Program at Miami International Airport to OTG MIA Venture, LLC. The contract is for the development and management of 17 retail and food and beverage concession spaces, totaling approximately 19,073 square feet, within the upcoming Concourse K. The projected revenue for Miami-Dade Aviation Department is $62,200,000.00 over an initial 11-year term with one one-year option to renew. The Concessionaire will be responsible for financing, design, leasing, tenant coordination, construction, and property management of these spaces. The project is part of MIA's Modernization in Action initiative to enhance passenger experience and generate non-aeronautical revenue. The contract is expected to be effective upon Board approval, with concessions available by 2030. The Aviation and Seaport Committee forwarded the resolution to the Board with a favorable recommendation.
