Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners is approving the award of a competitive revenue-generating contract, Contract No. EVN0028376, for the Concourse K Concession Program at Miami International Airport (MIA) to OTG MIA Venture, LLC. The contract is for the development and management of 17 retail and food and beverage concession spaces, totaling approximately 19,073 square feet. The projected revenue to the Miami-Dade Aviation Department (MDAD) is $62,200,000.00 over an initial 11-year term, which includes two years for construction and nine for operations, with one additional one-year option to renew. The Concessionaire will be responsible for financing, design, leasing, tenant coordination, construction, and property management of these spaces. The contract is expected to advance MIA's modernization efforts and enhance passenger experience. The award was made after a competitive RFP process where three other proposals were deemed non-responsive. The Living Wage Ordinance applies to this contract.
