Miami-Dade County is seeking to approve and execute Amendment No. 3 to the 2012 Container Handling Crane Maintenance Management Agreement with Port of Miami Crane Management, Inc. (PMCM). This amendment will add five additional one-year renewals to the existing agreement. Competitive bidding procedures are being waived for this amendment. PMCM is a Florida not-for-profit corporation created and funded by the County, responsible for managing the maintenance of the County's seaport gantry cranes and other cargo handling equipment. The estimated annual cost for the renewals is $25,287,000.00, totaling $126,435,000.00 if all renewal options are exercised. The agreement also covers maintenance for Rubber-Tired Gantry Cranes (RTGs) and Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBBs). The item is currently 'In Committee' with an Agenda Date of 9/1/2026.
