Miami-Dade County is seeking to approve and execute Amendment No. 3 to the 2012 Container Handling Crane Maintenance Management Agreement with Port of Miami Crane Management, Inc. (PMCM). This amendment waives competitive bidding and provides five additional one-year renewals. The estimated annual cost is $25,287,000.00, totaling $126,435,000.00 if all renewals are exercised. PMCM is a Florida not-for-profit corporation created and funded by the County, uniquely qualified to manage the maintenance of the Port's container handling cranes and other cargo equipment.
