PORT OF MIAMI CRANE MANAGEMENT, INC.

Aviation and Seaport Committee · 2026-07-13 · resolution

Miami-Dade County is seeking to approve and execute Amendment No. 3 to the 2012 Container Handling Crane Maintenance Management Agreement with Port of Miami Crane Management, Inc. (PMCM). This amendment will add five additional one-year renewals to the existing agreement. Competitive bidding procedures will be waived. The estimated annual cost for these renewals is $25,287,000.00, totaling $126,435,000.00 if all renewal options are exercised. PMCM is a Florida not-for-profit corporation created and funded by the County, uniquely qualified to manage the maintenance of the Port's gantry cranes and cargo handling equipment, including Rubber-Tired Gantry Cranes and Passenger Boarding Bridges. Approximately 45% of PMCM's budget is allocated to International Longshoremen's Association (ILA) labor.
