CARPAU SPECIAL TAXING DISTRICT

Miami-Dade County adopted an ordinance creating the CARPAU Multipurpose Maintenance and Street Lighting Special Taxing District. The district will provide maintenance for landscaped swales, medians, common areas, entrance features, wetlands, and lakes, as well as street lighting services. The developer, CFF Development Group, LLC, is responsible for initial costs. Homestead Energy Services will provide street lighting. Maintenance services will be funded by special assessments based on square footage, and street lighting by front footage. The district is located within Commission District 8.
