Miami-Dade County established the Olga Lidia Subdivision Multipurpose Maintenance and Street Lighting Special Taxing District. The district is generally bounded by SW 245 Terrace (North), SW 128 Avenue (East), Theoretical SW 246 Street (South), and SW 129 Avenue (West). It is located in Section 23, Township 56 South, Range 39 East. The district will provide maintenance for landscaped swales, medians, common areas, entrance features, wetlands, lakes, and exterior fencing/walls, as well as street lighting services. The initial estimated cost for multipurpose maintenance is $19,054.51 annually, and for street lighting, it is $65,797.66 for the first year and $15,810.32 for the second year. The developer, Sunshine Views 246, LLC, is responsible for the first year of street lighting costs. Services will be funded by special assessments. The district was requested by 100% of the property owners.
