Miami-Dade County established the Olga Lidia Subdivision Multipurpose Maintenance and Street Lighting Special Taxing District. The district is generally bounded by SW 245 Terrace (North), SW 128 Avenue (East), Theoretical SW 246 Street (South), and SW 129 Avenue (West). It is located in Section 23, Township 56 South, Range 39 East. The district will provide maintenance for landscaped swales, medians, common areas, entrance features, wetlands, lakes, and exterior fencing/walls, as well as street lighting services. The initial estimated cost for multipurpose maintenance is $19,054.51 annually (starting in the second year), and for street lighting is $65,797.66 in the first year and $15,810.32 annually thereafter. The developer, Sunshine Views 246, LLC, requested the district, and 100% of property owners signed the petition. Florida Power and Light will be involved in the street lighting services.
