Miami-Dade County adopted an ordinance creating the Wildwood Groves Multipurpose Maintenance and Street Lighting Special Taxing District. The district is generally bounded by SW 272 Street to the north, Theoretical SW 158 Passage to the east, SW 276 Street to the south, and SW 162 Avenue to the west. The district will provide for the maintenance of landscaped areas, common areas, entrance features, wetlands, and lakes, as well as street lighting services. The estimated initial cost for multipurpose maintenance services is $149,883.98, and for street lighting services is $52,590.16 for the first year. The developer, TPG AG EHC III (LEN) MULTI STATE 4, LLC, petitioned for the district, which is expected to include 115 single-family homes. Street lighting services are anticipated to begin in November 2028, with maintenance services commencing after developer and association/CDD cessation. The project involves the installation of approximately 30 new LED streetlights and the operation of 4 existing LED streetlights.
