Miami-Dade County adopted an ordinance creating the Wildwood Groves Multipurpose Maintenance and Street Lighting Special Taxing District. The district is generally bounded by SW 272 Street (north), Theoretical SW 158 Passage (east), SW 276 Street (south), and SW 162 Avenue (west). The district will provide maintenance for landscaped areas, common areas, entrance features, wetlands, lakes, and exterior fencing/walls, as well as street lighting services. The estimated initial cost for multipurpose maintenance is $149,883.98, and for street lighting is $52,590.16 for the first year. The developer, TPG AG EHC III (LEN) MULTI STATE 4, LLC, petitioned for the district, which is expected to include approximately 115 single-family homes. Street lighting services are anticipated to begin in November 2028, with maintenance services commencing after developer and association/CDD cessation of services. Florida Power and Light will own and maintain the street lighting system.
