Board of County Commissioners · 2026-05-19 · ordinance

Miami-Dade County adopted an ordinance creating the Wildwood Groves Multipurpose Maintenance and Street Lighting Special Taxing District. The district is generally bounded by SW 272 Street to the north, Theoretical SW 158 Passage to the east, SW 276 Street to the south, and SW 162 Avenue to the west. Services will include maintenance of landscaped areas, common areas, entrance features, wetlands, lakes, fencing, walls, and potentially private roads, as well as street lighting. The estimated initial cost for multipurpose maintenance is $149,883.98, and for street lighting is $52,590.16 for the first year, with subsequent years having different estimated costs. The developer, TPG AG EHC III (LEN) MULTI STATE 4, LLC, petitioned for the district, which is expected to include approximately 115 single-family homes. Street lighting services are anticipated to begin in November 2028, and maintenance services will commence after developer and association/CDD cessation of services. Florida Power and Light will own the street lighting system.
