APPROVAL OF ADDITIONAL SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENTS TO ILA
Board of County Commissioners · 2026-06-02 · resolution
Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution R-473-26, approving multiple interlocal agreements and supplemental agreements related to the Supervisor of Elections. These agreements cover financial disclosures, outside employment systems, election-related functions, and employee crosswalk provisions. The Supervisor of Elections will continue temporary access to existing financial disclosure and outside employment systems while Miami-Dade County and the Commission on Ethics and Public Trust migrate these functions to the County's INFORMS platform. The agreements also expand the Supervisor's responsibilities for election-related functions and modify the Interlocal Transition Agreement to include automatic annual renewal, facilitate the Supervisor's transition off the INFORMS system, and authorize the relocation of the Supervisor's branch office within the Stephen P. Clark Center. The relocation to the Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) federally regulated space requires the Supervisor to pay DTPW $1,000.00 per month, retroactive to July 1, 2025. The employee crosswalk provisions are extended for an additional year. Vice Chairwoman Milian Orbis inquired about the scope of the changes and confirmed the process for other constitutional offices. Mr. LaFarga provided details on the transition of functions and the implementation timeline.
