APPROVAL OF ADDITIONAL SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENTS TO ILA

Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution R-473-26, approving multiple interlocal agreements and supplemental agreements related to the Supervisor of Elections. These agreements cover financial disclosures, outside employment systems, additional election-related functions, and the relocation of the Supervisor's branch office within the Stephen P. Clark Center. The agreements also extend employee crosswalk provisions. A key aspect is the temporary continuation of the Supervisor's existing financial disclosure and outside employment systems while Miami-Dade County and the Commission on Ethics and Public Trust migrate these functions to the County's INFORMS platform. The Supervisor will pay $1,000 per month for office space use in the Stephen P. Clark Center, retroactive to July 1, 2025. During committee review, Vice Chairwoman Milian Orbis inquired about the scope of the changes, and Mr. LaFarga clarified the status of employee crosswalks and the transition of functions for various constitutional offices, including the Clerk of the Courts, Sheriff, Tax Collector, Property Appraiser, and Supervisor of Elections.
