APPROVAL OF ADDITIONAL SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENTS TO ILA
Board of County Commissioners · 2026-06-02 · resolution
Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution R-473-26, approving multiple interlocal agreements and supplemental agreements involving the County, the Commission on Ethics and Public Trust, and the Supervisor of Elections. These agreements facilitate the transition of financial disclosure and outside employment functions to the County's INFORMS platform, expand the Supervisor of Elections' responsibilities related to elections code, and modify the Interlocal Transition Agreement for automatic annual renewal and relocation of the Supervisor's branch office within the Stephen P. Clark Center. The agreements also extend employee crosswalk provisions. A key component is the Supervisor of Elections continuing to operate existing financial disclosure systems temporarily while the County develops its own. The relocation of the Supervisor's branch office within the Stephen P. Clark Center will result in a monthly payment of $1,000.00 to the Department of Transportation and Public Works, retroactive to July 1, 2025. During committee review, Vice Chairwoman Milian Orbis inquired about the scope of the crosswalk issue and the components of the item. Mr. LaFarga clarified the transition of financial disclosure duties and confirmed the agreements' purpose in ensuring continued access to systems and expanding the Supervisor's election-related functions.
