Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted an ordinance to expand the boundaries of the Biscayne Drive Estates Community Development District (CDD). This expansion will accommodate an additional 166 residential units, bringing the total to 319 units, with associated infrastructure costs of approximately $15.08 million. The ordinance was adopted on June 2, 2026, after a first reading on April 21, 2026. The public hearing had no attendees wishing to speak. The CDD is generally bounded by SW 284 Street to the north, SW 167 Avenue to the east, theoretical SW 293 Street to the south, and SW 177 Avenue (Krome Avenue) to the west.
