Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted an ordinance establishing the San Diego Villas Community Development District (CDD). The CDD is generally bounded by SW 355 Street (North), SW 189 Avenue (East), SW 358 Street (South), and SW 192 Avenue/Tower Road (West). The development by Lennar Homes, LLC. includes 271 villa units, roadway improvements, stormwater management, wastewater collection, and water distribution systems, with an estimated cost of $16.055 million. The CDD will provide financing for capital improvements and maintenance. The ordinance was adopted on June 2, 2026, after a first reading on April 21, 2026.
