The Board of County Commissioners adopted an ordinance establishing the San Diego Villas Community Development District (CDD). This district is generally bounded by SW 355 Street (North), SW 189 Avenue (East), SW 358 Street (South), and SW 192 Avenue/Tower Road (West). The development by Lennar Homes, LLC. includes 271 villa units on 23.09 acres, with associated roadway improvements, stormwater management, wastewater collection, and water distribution systems, estimated to cost $16.055 million. The ordinance was adopted on first reading on April 21, 2026, and finally adopted on June 2, 2026.
