Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners ratified Change Order No. 1 to Contract No. S-16094 for the construction of the Central District Wastewater Treatment Plant (CDWWTP) New Materials Management Building and Storage Areas. The change order grants a 51-day non-compensable time extension due to a delay in permitting, revising the Substantial Completion date from March 21, 2026, to May 11, 2026, and the Final Completion date from April 20, 2026, to June 10, 2026. The project involves earthwork, paving, grading, pile foundation, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, fire pumps, electrical systems, and network infrastructure. The new facility will include 3,525 square feet of office space, warehousing, receiving areas, and outdoor storage canopies.
