Miami-Dade County approved Change Order No. 2 for the Coconut Grove Playhouse Phase 1 project, increasing the contract amount by $1,812,258.98 to a total of $6,805,189.97. This increase is due to unforeseen deterioration of the historic gateway building's facade walls and revised structural bracing requirements. The work is funded by Convention Development Tax Bonds (Special Obligation Bond Series 2005).
