Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution R-534-26, declaring approximately 560 square feet of county-owned property as surplus and authorizing its conveyance to the City of Miami for $10.00. This conveyance is for a right-of-way dedication related to the Claude Pepper Tower public housing site redevelopment. The property is located at the southwest corner of NW 7th Avenue/US-441 and NW 18th Terrace, and the northeast corner of NW 8th Avenue and NW 18th Street. The redevelopment project, managed by RUDG, LLC, will consist of approximately 628 mixed-income units, replacing 166 existing public housing units. The conveyance is a condition for obtaining building permits, as required by City of Miami code for street intersection radius dedications. The property will revert to the County if the public use is discontinued.
