Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted a resolution approving a Professional Services Agreement (PSA) with NV5, Inc. as part of a pool of consultants to provide construction materials testing services for the Miami-Dade Aviation Department at Miami International Airport. The contract, number E24AV03C, has a maximum amount of $41,353,125.00 for an initial five-year term with one five-year renewal option. The services will support various capital improvement projects at the airport, including terminal, concourse, apron, runway, and parking structure upgrades. NV5, Inc. was the third-ranked firm selected for negotiation. The agreement is one of five similar agreements being awarded as part of a pool to manage the extensive modernization efforts at MIA, which has an expanded capital plan of $12 billion. The work will be assigned via service orders on a rotational basis among the selected firms.
