CONTRACT WITH TRAPEZE

Board of County Commissioners · 2026-06-02 · resolution

Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution R-481-26, authorizing a non-competitive designated purchase for Supplemental Agreement No. 10 under Contract No. BW7961-3/11 with Trapeze Software Group, Inc. This agreement extends the contract for Trapeze software implementation, technical support, and maintenance for the Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) by an additional three years. The expenditure authority is increased by $3,062,860, bringing the total modified contract value to $20,889,064. This extension is necessary to ensure operational continuity for critical transit scheduling and paratransit software systems while DTPW implements new, competitively procured replacement platforms. The contract, which supports fixed-route bus and rail scheduling, paratransit operations, and rider-facing tools, will now expire on June 30, 2029. The agreement allows for the discontinuation of individual modules if replacement systems are implemented earlier, potentially avoiding further costs. The Transportation Committee forwarded the item with a favorable recommendation.
