Board of County Commissioners · 2026-06-02 · resolution

Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted a resolution authorizing the conveyance of two perpetual easements to the State of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for a roadway improvement project. Easement Parcel 800, approximately 2,414 square feet, is located at the SW corner of SR 860/Miami Gardens Drive and NW 37th Avenue. Easement Parcel 801, approximately 1,061 square feet, is located at the SE corner of SR 860/Miami Gardens Drive and NE 6th Avenue. The conveyance is for a nominal price of $1.00. FDOT will use the easements for installing traffic signals, modifying turning radii, realigning pedestrian crosswalks, reconstructing curbs and sidewalks, and installing control cabinets, service disconnects, pull boxes, and conduits. FDOT will be solely responsible for all project costs and maintenance. The easements will revert to the County if FDOT ceases using them for transportation purposes. The resolution was introduced on 4/6/2026 and adopted on 6/2/2026.
