Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted a resolution authorizing an additional three-year term and two one-year options to renew for Contract No. BW733-2/25, for Documentum Software License, Support, and Maintenance Services. The expenditure authority is increased by $7,346,096.00, bringing the total modified amount to $13,405,520.00. This contract is for the Communications, Information and Technology Department (CITD) on behalf of County departments and Constitutional offices. The software supports enterprise web content management (TeamSite) and enterprise content management (Documentum), managing millions of documents, supporting web publishing for over 30 County websites including miamidade.gov, and enabling compliance, security, and automated workflows. The contract was originally awarded to OpenText, Inc. on July 20, 2021. The extension is considered the most cost-effective approach to ensure uninterrupted access to these critical systems while future procurement requirements are developed. The County Mayor is authorized to execute supplemental agreements and exercise contract provisions.
