Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution R-487-26 on June 2, 2026, authorizing an additional three-year term and two one-year options to renew for Contract No. BW733-2/25 with OpenText, Inc. for Documentum software license, support, and maintenance services. The expenditure authority is increased by $7,346,096, bringing the total modified amount to $13,405,520. This contract is for the Communications, Information and Technology Department (CITD) on behalf of County departments and Constitutional offices. The software supports enterprise web content management (TeamSite) and enterprise content management (Documentum), managing millions of documents, supporting web publishing for over 30 County websites including miamidade.gov, and enabling public records requests and audits. The extension is considered the most cost-effective approach to ensure uninterrupted service while future system requirements are developed. The contract was originally awarded to OpenText on July 20, 2021, for a five-year term.
