Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners approved a resolution authorizing the execution of a Fiscal Year 2025-26 contract with the State of Florida Department of Health. The total program cost is $87,580,952, with $51,015,587 from the State and $36,565,365 in local contributions. The County's cash contribution of $1,133,000 is provided by Jackson Health System. The resolution was amended and ultimately approved after being deferred and then forwarded with a favorable recommendation from a committee.
