Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution R-489-26 on June 2, 2026, authorizing an additional five years and $3,801,964.00 in expenditure authority for Prequalification Pool No. FB-01793P, which provides Fuel Service Station Maintenance, Repair, and Services for multiple County departments. The total modified cumulative pool amount is now $10,609,052.00. The pool was originally established for a five-year term and is valued at $6,807,088. The extension is intended to continue streamlining processes, reduce procurement time, and save the County money. The pool supports routine maintenance, inspection, and emergency mitigation services for fuel service stations and storage tanks, with main users being the People and Internal Operations Department (PIOD) and the Water and Sewer Department (WASD). Five vendors are currently prequalified, three with local addresses, including one certified Small Business Enterprise (SBE). The pool will remain open, and additional qualified vendors may be added at any time. Any contract award under the pool exceeding $5,000,000.00 requires ratification by the Board. The pool expires on October 31, 2031.
