FUEL STATION MAINTENANCE (MOD 5YR)

Board of County Commissioners · 2026-06-02 · resolution

Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution R-489-26 on June 2, 2026, authorizing an additional five years and $3,801,964.00 in expenditure authority for Prequalification Pool No. FB-01793P, which provides Fuel Service Station Maintenance, Repair, and Services for multiple county departments. The total modified cumulative pool amount is now $10,609,052.00. This extension aims to continue streamlining processes, reduce procurement time, and save costs for the county and existing vendors. The pool supports routine maintenance, inspection, and emergency mitigation services for fuel service stations and storage tanks, with main users being the People and Internal Operations Department (PIOD) and the Water and Sewer Department (WASD). The pool was initially established via Resolution No. R-643-21 and currently has five prequalified vendors, three with local addresses, including one certified Small Business Enterprise (SBE). Any contract award exceeding $5,000,000.00 under this pool requires ratification by the Board. The pool expires on October 31, 2031.
