The lease is for 75 years with two 5-year renewal options, at an initial annual rent of $100.00, with 3% annual increases. The property will be used for the construction and operation of a 6,000 square foot medical facility, primarily serving pediatric patients. The county waived certain notice and reporting requirements. The resolution also approves the tenant subleasing a portion of the property for $1.00 to another qualified not-for-profit entity. The tenant has secured a $3,000,000 federal grant for construction and a $1,000,000 donation for equipment.
