Miami-Dade County Commissioners adopted a resolution authorizing the negotiation and execution of amendments to a lease and plans for the Mental Health Center located at 2200 NW 7th Avenue, Miami, Florida. This action approves non-competitive designated purchases for contracts with The Village South, Inc. (and its parent WestCare Foundation, Inc.) for mental health services totaling up to $27,218,627.00, and The Advocate Program Inc. for ancillary services totaling up to $4,169,861.00. The total estimated cost for services and building operations over the initial three-year term is up to $45,687,127.00. The resolution also approves an Opioid Funding Disbursement and Implementation Plan for Fiscal Year 2025-2026 through September 30, 2031. The County Mayor is directed to issue expedited Requests for Proposals for outpatient treatment services and transitional housing at the Center.
