Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution R-490-26, authorizing an extension of five years and an additional expenditure authority of $17,600,000.00 for Prequalification Pool No. EVN0043091 (also referenced as RTQ-01468), for OEM Repair and Service for Fire Rescue Equipment. This brings the total modified cumulative pool amount to $36,202,842.00. The pool serves the Miami Dade Aviation Department (MDAD) and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Department (MDFR). The extension allows for continued procurement of repair, maintenance, and related services for various types of vehicles, including fire suppression, construction, and heavy-duty motor vehicles, and OEM components. Contract awards exceeding $5,000,000.00, or $1,500,000.00 for MDAD, require Board ratification. The pool was initially established on January 20, 2021, for a five-year term. The extension is set to expire on September 30, 2031.
