Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution R-490-26, extending Prequalification Pool No. EVN0043091 (also referenced as RTQ-01468) for OEM Repair and Service for Fire Rescue Equipment. The extension grants an additional five years and $17,600,000.00 in expenditure authority, bringing the total modified cumulative pool amount to $36,202,842.00. This pool serves the Miami Dade Aviation Department (MDAD) and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Department (MDFR) for maintenance and repair of fire suppression, construction, and heavy-duty motor vehicles and related OEM components. The extension aims to streamline procurement, reduce administrative work for vendors and the county, and ensure critical fire rescue apparatus remain operational. Contract awards under the pool exceeding $5,000,000.00, or $1,500,000.00 for MDAD, require Board ratification. The pool remains open, and additional qualified vendors may be added at any time.
