PALMETTO HOMES ADDITIONAL EXTENSION FOR 30 LOTS

Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted a resolution authorizing an extension for Palmetto Homes Urban Development Group, Inc. to construct and complete affordable housing properties. The extension is for three years from the adoption date of the resolution. This action amends and restates previous county deeds for multiple properties previously conveyed for the Infill Housing Initiative Program. The resolution also authorizes the County Mayor or designee to enforce deed provisions and exercise reversionary interests if necessary. Palmetto Homes has returned 15 lots to the County, including specific addresses and folio numbers, and has committed to constructing a Puerto Rican Community Center and multifamily housing on other properties.
