PALMETTO HOMES ADDITIONAL EXTENSION FOR 30 LOTS

Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted a resolution authorizing an extension for Palmetto Homes Urban Development Group, Inc. to construct, complete, and sell or rent affordable housing properties. This extension is for three years from the adoption date of the resolution. The resolution amends and restates county deeds for previously conveyed County-owned properties. Palmetto Homes is developing these properties for very low-, low-, or moderate-income households under the Infill Housing Initiative Program and Florida Statutes Section 125.379. The company has returned 12 lots to the County and also returned three specific lots at 550 NW 22nd Street, 2185 NW 5th Place, and 2173 NW 5th Place, Miami, FL, which were intended for an exchange with Mana Fashion Realty, LLC. Palmetto Homes has committed to constructing a Puerto Rican Community Center along with multifamily housing on properties anticipated to be conveyed to them.
