RESTRICTIVE COVENANTS ON VIZCAYA MUSEUM
Board of County Commissioners · 2026-06-02 · resolution
Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted a resolution approving two declarations of restrictive covenants for Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. The first covenant is for the preservation of the Superintendent's House for 15 years, in exchange for a $500,000 federal Save America's Treasures grant. The second covenant is for the preservation of the Main House Swimming Pool Grotto for 20 years, in exchange for a $750,000 federal Save America's Treasures grant. This action rescinds a previous resolution (R-983-24) to reflect updated terms for the Superintendent's House covenant. The County Mayor or designee is authorized to execute and record these covenants.
