Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted a resolution approving the issuance of revenue notes not to exceed $40,000,000.00 by the Public Finance Authority on behalf of Sky Harbour Opa Locka Airport, LLC. These funds will finance capital projects, specifically the development of a general aviation and aircraft storage facility at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport. The project includes 15 hangars totaling approximately 271,000 square feet, additional office space for aviation use, and built-to-suit hangars for aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul.
