Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted a resolution to declare county-owned property surplus and authorize its conveyance to Cipres RE, LLC for $10.00. The property will be developed with 14 units of affordable housing, rented to very low-, low-, or moderate-income households (not exceeding 120% AMI), and will include approximately 4,100 square feet of ground-floor commercial space. Cipres RE, LLC, an affiliate of Rilea Group, Inc., will also contribute $800,000 to an endowed scholarship fund for students residing in Commission District 3. The development must be completed within three years of the County Deed recording, subject to a reverter clause. The resolution waived certain notice and procedural requirements.
