Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted a resolution (File Number: 260911, Reference: R-526-26) on June 16, 2026, declaring county-owned property identified by Folio No. 01-3125-004-0160 as surplus. The property will be conveyed to Cipres RE, LLC, for $10.00, for the development of 14 units of affordable housing and approximately 4,100 square feet of ground-floor commercial space. The housing will be rented to very low-, low-, or moderate-income households, with specific unit restrictions based on Area Median Income (AMI). Cipres RE, LLC, an affiliate of Rilea Group, Inc., is also required to contribute $800,000.00 to a not-for-profit for an endowed scholarship.
